I think it’s fair to say after three tough years in the property market we are experiencing the 'Boris Bounce' here in Bristol!
We have secured the highest number of sales agreed in January since 2016. Whilst encouraging in its own right things are a bit more promising than this statistic alone.
November and December were also busy months.
We've already agreed sales on 87.5% of the properties we put to the market in January many in the first few days of being on the market which demonstrates property is selling and quickly if priced sensibly and attractively presented to prospective buyers.
In fact every property put to the market in January received proceedable offers within 5% of the marketing price which demonstrates a desire to buy from purchasers and not muck about with silly offers, often citing Brexit as the reason!
Overall, we collectively agreed sales on over £5.5 million of property in January with the average agreed price within 1.3% of the asking price. Again, accurate pricing, great photography, presentation and wide-ranging marketing platforms optimising results for our clients. An experienced and dedicated team with over 150 years’ experience helps as well!
The message this year is clear. Don’t wait until spring to put your property on the market. Buyers are out there now, willing and able to buy and pay sensible prices.
