Stretching from the edge of Durdham Downs Henleaze is a predominantly 1930’s suburb occupying some of the highest ground in Bristol which is handy if sea levels rise. The local High Street is thriving with independent shops including a butchers, bakers and we’re pretty sure you can get candle sticks in the hardware shop. It’s that type of place, everything you need is on the doorstep and surprisingly convenient. The local primary school enjoys a fantastic reputation and ensures the area is always in demand for growing families. Party in the Park in September and the Christmas fair on the High Street are the big annual events.
